Seasonal Pantry is a DC-based business founded by Ali Bagheri and Daniel O’Brien. Ali and Dan met while working in the kitchen of a DC restaurant. They hit it off immediately, and soon after the Seasonal Pantry concept was born and launched in spring of 2011. The two wanted to create a product line that they could make in small batches and sell in an old world food market.
Dan brings over 15 years of experience to Seasonal Pantry; he started as a kid with a passion to cook for his parents, and he has now worked in high profile restaurants in Boston and DC. Originally from upstate New York, Dan spent time in France learning classic cuisine and skills.
Ali and Dan’s work is also on display at SUNdeVICH, sundevich.com, a globally inspired sandwich shop located around the corner from Seasonal Pantry. Both partners are residents of the neighborhood and have a good understanding of its needs. They’re enthusiastic about bringing their passion of food and craftsmanship to their neighbors.
